Glendale, NY - In a recent vote, the majority of the NYA engineers and conductors voted to be represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters/ International Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (BLE).

Prior to this vote, the NYA engineers were represented by the BLE and the NYA conductors were represented by the United Transportation Union (UTU). This dual representation had been in effect since the NYA commenced operations in 1997.
