K.E. (Kirk) Bedford

Kirk Bedford joined New York & Atlantic Railway as Vice President in April 2025. He has over 26 years of experience in the railroad industry specializing in railroad operations. Mr. Bedford began his railroad career with the Union Pacific Railroad. He has extensive operations leadership, most recently with Genesee & Wyoming Inc. over the last 18 years, where he served as General Manager for multiple railroads in the Western and Southern Regions. Mr. Bedford is a military veteran having served in the U.S. Army with the 1^st Armored Division as a Combat Engineer in the first Gulf War. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Network and Communications Management from DeVry University and holds Six Sigma, Yellow & Green Belt Certifications.
