M.J. (Michael) Naatz

Michael J. Naatz joined Anacostia Rail Holdings Company in February 2025 as the Chief Operating Officer.  Most recently Mr. Naatz was EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Kansas City Southern (KCS). There, he led the company to strong growth. Prior to his CMO role, Mr. Naatz was SVP, Operations Support and Chief Information Officer, where he led intermodal operations, mechanical, service design, and IT.  Before joining KCS, he was president of YRC Holland, a division of YRC Worldwide (YRC). Prior to that he was YRC’s Chief Customer Officer, leading the sales, IT, customer service, pricing and quality teams. Naatz launched his career at Westvaco, a global packaging company.  Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management (MBA); University of Illinois (BA).
